This is a good “summer read”. Not too taxing, but it held my interest. I’m not sure how I feel about the theory that a middle-aged woman has to have an affair and nearly destroy her marriage to find her art and herself again, though. I was a little disappointed in the plot line in that way, but the writing was not bad. I did really enjoy the descriptions of the scenery and wildlife of the South Carolina coast. Those might have been the highlight of this book.
